Written by BOLT ON Technology | Feb 2, 2026 1:10:06 PM

Our latest product update focuses on giving shops more control over automation, expanding outreach capabilities, and improving data accuracy and reliability across the Bolt On platform. Here’s what’s new.

New Features & Enhancements

MILES

Customer-Level Opt-Out for AI Responses
Shops can now exclude individual customers from MILES-powered responses using a new AI preference setting within customer profiles.

Why it matters:
This gives shops more granular control over automation, making it easier to respect customer preferences while still benefiting from MILES across the rest of their customer base.

Retention Pro

Expanded One-Time SMS Campaign Capacity
Admins and Owners can now send one-time SMS campaigns to more than 300 customers. Messages are automatically queued and delivered in batches to ensure reliable performance.

Why it matters:
High-volume campaigns are no longer limited, allowing shops to reach more customers without compromising delivery or system stability.

Direct Mail Cost Confirmation
A new confirmation prompt now notifies shops that Direct Mail campaigns incur additional costs before activation.

Why it matters:
This added transparency helps prevent accidental campaign launches and reduces billing surprises.

PitStop Website Auto-Wiring

Review and Appointment iframes now automatically populate with shop data when created and render correctly on mobile devices.

Why it matters:
Shops can publish websites faster with no manual configuration, delivering a smoother experience for mobile customers.

Repair Order Pickup Date Accuracy

Repair order sync logic has been corrected so pickup dates are displayed accurately instead of defaulting to incorrect values.

Why it matters:
Daily metrics and reporting now better reflect real operational activity.
