Users of the ALLDATA and NAPA TRACS shop management systems – who have implemented BOLT ON’s Mobile Manager Pro add-on software solution – can now review and edit an inspection from the desktop, making it easier to share in-person results with a customer.

BOLT ON rolled out its Inspection Manager addition in November for Mitchell 1 SE Mobile Manager Pro users. With the most recent update for ALLDATA and NAPA TRACS users, the feature - which serves as an exact replication of what's seen on the tablet - allows service advisors the ability to see in-progress, waiting and completed inspections. From the desktop, shop staff can view and edit notes and recommendations, as well as vehicle and inspection images.

As is the case with the tablet, shop personnel can share inspections via email, text message, and work order note.

Report Pro’s most recent update also includes an email setup wizard to simplify the email setup process. In addition, shop personnel can now set a date range to view inspection history. Users also have the ability to delete recommendations in inspections.

Getting started
Follow these steps to load the latest Report Pro upgrades:

  • Open Report Pro
  • When you see the prompt for a new update click "get update."

(The Inspection Manager is accessible in the tools menu of Report Pro)
